FESTIVAL CAMPING
Weekend tent or van camping - $60
This covers the entire weekend or a single night at the same rate.
Important reminders:
Please fill you water and gather camping supplies prior to your arrival
Bathrooms and limited water are available at campground restrooms.
Be prepared for minimal amenities. We are located in the middle of a working ranch.
Please note for weekend and Friday ticket holders, the festival starts on Friday, June 19th. Arrival to festival grounds will be allowed as early as 8:00am on Friday, June 19th.

Below is a list of places all within 30-45 minutes from the festival grounds. The towns of Helena, Missoula and Great Falls are all within 60-90 minutes drive or so and are reasonable for day tripping.

GENERAL

Yes. Kids age 12 and under are free. We will still require a ticket to be selected for each child during checkout online to help us prepare for infrastructure and accommodations. Limit of 3 free kid passes per adult ticket holder. All kids 13 and over will require a regular ticket.
You are welcome to come and go from the festival grounds as needed but please keep your wristband on at all times. We are very limited in being able to get you a replacement wristband.
All events, prices, personalities, performances, venues, dates and times are subject to change without notice.
All sales are final. We are a rain-or-shine event. If for any reason you must cancel, the ticketing platform does have an open market to re-sell your ticket, but there is no guarantee you will be able to do so.

There is no wifi or cell service at the festival. Unplug and enjoy yourself! The nearest wifi will be at the Copper Queen Bar in Helmville about 2 miles down the road.
BE BEAR AWARE - We have taken appropriate precautions to make sure that we are safe in grizzly country. Help us to be our eyes and ears. If you see a bear, come find a Festival Official to alert our Bear Mitigation Team. Do NOT leave any food left unsupervised. Store all of your food in a locked car during the day and overnight. DO NOT STORE FOOD IN YOUR SLEEPING AREA. Feeding wildlife is illegal.
Bear spray - Be mindful that bear spray may cause irreversible eye damage if sprayed in the eye at close range. Contact through touching or rubbing eyes may result in substantial but temporary eye injury. Strongly irritating to nose and skin.
It’s Montana. We are a snow, rain, or shine event so please prepare for cold, wet, and hot conditions. Typically daytime temps are in the high 50s to low 60s and evenings are in the mid-40s to low 50s. Again please bring a variety of layers. There will be fires available to warm up if needed!
We love animals, but we kindly ask that you leave your animals at home. The weather in June is unpredictable, please do not leave your animals in your vehicle. Thanks for your cooperation!
Yes, there will be several areas for free water refills. There will also be spring water for sale. Please refer to your festival map for where water stations are located.
We also recommend bringing your own water supply for your campsite. If you're bringing an RV or camper, please fill your water tanks prior to arrival. Additionally, there will not be any electrical plug-ins or charging stations available.
Outside food and drinks (including alcoholic beverages) are restricted to parking and camping areas. Old Salt Co-op and our guest chefs will provide complimentary “bites” each afternoon. There will be food available for purchase inside the festival grounds from various food trucks and adult beverages and N/A beverage vendors on site.

ONLY THE SOUTH NEVADA CREEK RD. ENTRANCE TO THE FESTIVAL THROUGH THE TOWN OF HELMVILLE WILL BE OPEN. THE ACCESS DIRECTLY FROM HWY 141 FROM THE EAST WILL BE CLOSED.
COMING FROM HELENA:
Head west on MT HWY 12 for 30 miles until you reach Avon.
Turn right onto MT-141 N for 27.4 miles
Turn Left when you reach the Junction of US HWY 141 & 271
Go 1.4 miles to the Town of Helmville MT
Turn left onto S. Nevada Creek Road ( just after the church)
Head Southeast on S. Nevada Creek Rd for 2.7 miles (stay to the right)
You will run into the parking checkpoint and be directed where to go from there.
COMING FROM MISSOULA
Head East on I-90 for 4.2 miles and take exit 109 for MT-200 E toward Bonner/ Great Falls
Continue onto MT-200 E for 56.2 miles
Turn right onto MT-141 S
Head South on MT 141 for 5.0 miles
Turn right onto MT-271 for 1.4 miles
Turn left onto S. Nevada Creek Road ( just after the church)
Head Southeast on S. Nevada Creek Rd for 2.7 miles (stay to the right)
You will run into the parking checkpoint and be directed where to go from there.
COMING FROM BOZEMAN
Head West on I-90 towards Butte/Helena for 31.8 miles
Take exit 274 for US-287 toward Helena/Ennis
Turn right onto US-287 N
Continue north on US-287 N for 62.2 miles
Continue onto Prospect Ave
Turn right onto US-12 W/N Montana Ave (signs for Missoula)
Continue to follow US-12 W for 31.2 miles until you reach the community of Avon
Turn right onto MT-141 N for 27.4 miles
Turn Left when you reach the Junction of US HWY 141 & 271
Go 1.4 miles to the Town of Helmville MT
Turn left onto S. Nevada Creek Road ( just after the church)

COMING FROM GREAT FALLS
Head East on US HWY 15 for 9.4 miles
Take exit 290 for US-89 N
Continue onto MT-200 W/US-89 N for 7.9 miles
Continue straight onto MT-200 W for 83.7 miles
Turn left onto MT-141 S (signs for Avon/Helmville)
Head South on MT 141 for 5.0 miles
Turn right onto MT-271 for 1.4 miles
Turn left onto S. Nevada Creek Road ( just after the church)
Head Southeast on S. Nevada Creek Rd for 2.7 miles (stay to the right)

Regular unleaded can be purchased from the Copper Queen in Helmville, MT. Highway Diesel and propane refills available at the Blackfoot Commercial Company in Ovando, MT.
Yes, parking is included in your ticket price. Please purchase a camping pass prior to your arrival if you plan to spend the night at the festival. You will be guided to the appropriate parking zone when you check in at the festival. Please contact festival@oldsaltco-op.comif you need special parking accommodations.
We offer car/tent camping, RV/trailer sites, and even beautiful glamping options for those who want the extra layer of comfort. These passes are limited and sold on a first come, first served basis. Other off-site accommodations are also available.
Each person planning to spend the night at the festival must purchase a camping pass. Each pass is good for the entire weekend. Car/tent campsites are 20ft x 20ft. No water or supplies will be available in the camping area, so please come prepared. Bathrooms are accessible during your stay. Festival campgrounds open Friday at 9am, and you are welcome to stay until Monday at 10am. If you need a place to camp Thursday night, we recommend Geary's HipCamp.
If you'd like to park your RV or trailer on the festival grounds, each trailer must purchase a RV/trailer pass. Each pass is good for the entire weekend. These sites are 20ft x 40ft. No hookups, water, or supplies will be available in the camping area, so please come prepared. Bathrooms are accessible during your stay. Festival campgrounds open Friday at 9am, and you are welcome to stay until Monday at 10am. If you need a place to camp Thursday night, we recommend Geary's HipCamp.
Glamping accommodations are available on a first come, first served basis. More information coming soon.
